Media Expo 2017 opens today with cutting edge marketing solutions for the corporate world

With over 185 brands showcasing some of the most advanced solutions in print, advertising and digital marketing, Media Expo’s capital edition commenced today at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

With over 185 brands showcasing some of the most advanced solutions in print, advertising and digital marketing, Media Expo’s capital edition commenced today at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. At the occasion, Mr Raj Manek, Managing Director, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India Pvt Ltd shared: “Having established itself as an important event in the corporate calendar for media, ad and marketing professionals, the platform has time and again been acknowledged for its strong business-generating potential. I am confident that the 41st edition with a host of new innovations in advertising, signage, and print by over 150 exhibitors from India and abroad will once again offer excellent prospects for business and sourcing to modern marketers.” The 41st edition also hosts companies from Asian countries like China and Korea eyeing the growing potential of the Indian market for solutions in the indoor and outdoor marketing.

Day one hosted buyers and marketers from across diverse business sectors alongside a stark majority of printers and advertising industry professionals. Captivated by a gamut of attractive merchandise, high quality printing solutions, cutting edge technologies in LED signage, point of purchase materials and environmental friendly mediums, intense inquiries on the showfloor kept exhibitors busy. 

While traditional marketing concepts continue to hold a strong place in the advertising industry, visitors were seen willing to invest in new, innovative methods that create interactive experiences for their target audience. Kamlesh Kothari, Director, Weddingwala Pvt. Ltd shared, “I am very happy with Media Expo 2017. With digital India being a major focus there were many innovative and trendsetting solutions displayed here. UV Flatbed Printer is one such solution to which I found various price options at this exhibition. It will definitely make my purchase decision easier. I would love to come back for the next edition.”

In terms of innovation, visitors were also seen banking on green solutions such as eco-friendly wall papers, eco-solvent printers, self-adhesive fabrics, die-less digital finishing, digital heat transfer technologies for garment application, 100% aqueous non-polluting print technology as well as breathable, washable, fire retardant, dry-strippable, bio-degradable fabrics. Eco-friendly fabrics that are compatible with eco-solvent, UV & Latex and direct dye sublimation machines were also a key attraction among visitors.  

Highlighting the growing importance of green technology in the future of print and marketing, Manoj Singh, Managing Director, Purple Wave Infocom Pvt. Ltd shared, “This is my 10th year at Media Expo. I strongly support and promote green solutions as I think the future of this industry is digital and PVC-free solutions. I have been using green solutions from past five years now and I think it’s the right time the promote eco-friendly solutions in India.”
